The history of the Moro family is written since 1932 as a project of three generations rooted in the Ribera del Duero and dedicated to discovering the characteristics of its terroir to transmit them in wines with personality. However, it's not until 1987 when Bodegas Emilio Moro decides to commercialize their wines.
The winery owns around 200 hectares of its own distributed mainly in Pesquera de Duero, a town in the heart of the Ribera del Duero with a great winemaking tradition, and from all of them the best genetic material is selected for the new plantations, always of the Tinto Fino variety , unique with which their wines are made. It is important to point out that all the vineyards are grafted with high-quality centenary quills to preserve the original clone.
Since 1998, the 5 trademarks that make up the range of Bodegas Emilio Moro wines are Finca Resalso, Emilio Moro, Malleolus, Malleolus de Valderramiro and Malleolus de Sanchomartín.
